Jared is an incoming senior at the University of Arkansas pursuing double majors in chemical engineering and applied mathematics. He is working in the Munger Lab as part of the Jackson Lab's Summer Student Program on a project evaluating the statistical power of expression quantitative trait locus mapping using gene expression data from a Diversity Outbred mouse population. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in computational biology upon graduation. Outside of the lab, Jared enjoys running, hiking, and biking.
